The biggest night in TV is finally here, and the stars have brought their A-game to the first (regular-feeling) Emmy Awards red carpet since the beginning of the pandemic.

Handmaid’s Tale star Samira Wiley is giving us side-swept curls and a fade with a side of smoky eyes, while Emma Corrin is providing the vampy nail inspiration we need for fall — and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Here, we’re rounding up all the best beauty looks from the 2021 Emmy Awards that have not only quenched our thirst for red carpet glam, but are influencing our fall looks.
Emma Corrin’s face and nails are standing out on tonight’s red carpet. The Crown actress worked with makeup artist Florrin White who used BYREDO products to create her warm, glowy makeup look, along with nail tech Simone Cummings who molded her show-stopping glossy black claws.
Saturday Night Live star Cecily Strong may joke around for a living on the small screen, but she’s certainly not playing with us at the 2021 Emmys. Makeup artist Amy Clarke gave the star soft glam accompanied by fluttery lashes, while hairstylist Paul Norton created sultry waves with a deep side part.
Comedian Ashley Nicole Black’s multidimensional kinky blonde hair gave a new meaning to the half up-half down style. For makeup, she opted for bold, fluttery lashes and soft pink eyeshadow to match her colorblock gown.
While screenwriter Ariel Dumas may work behind the scenes, her makeup for tonight’s Emmy Awards put her center stage. Her bright pink eyes and glossy red lip are simply unforgettable — and to keep the focus on her bold makeup, Dumas wore her hair pulled back.
Soft and sleek is the name of the game for comedian Robin Thede. Her hair was styled pin straight, while her long lashes upped the neutral glam. She finished off the look with a nude matte lip.
Catherine Zeta-Jones knows a thing or two about how to make an entrance on the red carpet, and she certainly didn’t pipe down for this year’s Emmys. Her smoky eye makeup and red wine lip was created using products from her beauty line Casa Zeta-Jones. As for hair, the star added in some soft waves and kept her long locks tucked behind her shoulders.
Samira Wiley decided to give us some length at the red carpet. The star’s side-swept curls were paired with shaves sides, a silver smoky eye, and a glossy nude lip.
Kate Winslet always looks timeless on the red carpet, and her 2021 Emmys glam is no exception. The Mare of Easttown wore her hair in a chic chignon created by Renato Campora using L’Oreal Paris products. She accessorized the style with two wavy face-framing tendrils. As for glam, makeup artist Kate Lee kept things soft and neutral, using L'Oreal Paris' Infalliable 8HR Pro Gloss in Nude Twinkle for a shiny nude lip.
Kerry Washington’s slick updo by hairstylist Kim Kimble, charcoal smoky eye, and matte red lip created by Allan Avendaño earned her a place on our list of the best beauty moments of the night — and our fall vision board.
Disco is alive and well on the 2021 Emmys red carpet, thanks to Tracee Ellis Ross’s one-shoulder shimmery red dress, curly ‘fro, and fluttery lashes.
There’s no better place to debut a new set of bangs than the red carpet. Mandy Moore’s skin was prepped by Iván Pol of The Beauty Sandwich who used the “Tour de France” treatment, then makeup artist Kindra Mann followed up with the Solawave tool. Then she walked into the 2021 Emmys with a fresh set of soft textured bangs and a wavy half-up half-down hairstyle by Ashley Streicher using Garnier products and T3 hot tools.
It wouldn’t be a red carpet without a chic bob sighting. Elizabeth Olsen channeled Old Hollywood with her soft waves and deep center part by hairstylist Adir Abergel using Virtue Labs and ghd hot tools. Chanel makeup artist Pati Dubroff used the luxury brand’s Rouge Allure Laque in Fidélité for a berry-stained lip to add a modern twist to the classic beauty look.
The star brought glamour to the 2021 Emmy Awards red carpet with her natural curls pulled into a top knot and cat flick eyeliner. Henson worked with her go-to hairstylist Tym Wallace, who (of course) used TPH by Taraji hair products, as well as makeup artist Saisha Beecham.
Simple and chic, Yara Shahidi paired her sleek twisted updo, created by Lacy Redway using Nexxus products, with an emerald green Dior eyeshadow that makeup artist Emily Cheng perfectly matched to the Grown-ish star’s dress.
The Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series’ Very Good Bangs were front and center on the red carpet, thanks to her high wavy ponytail crafted by hairstylist Christine Symonds using Hidden Crown hair extensions and Clairol Professional products. Cuoco’s makeup artist Jamie Greenberg prepped the star’s skin for her no makeup-makeup look with RéVive products and Currentbody Skin's Dr. Harris Anti-Wrinkle Mask, then enhanced her flawless complexion with Charlotte Tilbury makeup
The Pose star looked like a real-life mermaid with her long, loose waves, soft smoky eye, and flowy aqua dress. Hairstylist Tym Wallace used hair extensions from Kim Kimble‘s line to add length and volume to her hair.
Tonight, Leslie Odom Jr. is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie — and he’s got the hair to match. His gorgeous ’90s-inspired high top fade was swept to the side to give the style a cool, structural look.
The Outstanding Lead Actress in A Drama Series nominee worked with hair god Nikki Nelms tonight, who used Maui Moisture’s Smooth and Repair + Vanilla Bean Oil Mist to give her updo extra shine. She paired the style with a plum red lip created by makeup artist Vincent Oquendo using Rouge Dior lipstick in 910 Ardente.
There’s nothing better than a Black woman wearing bright, bold colors — and that’s one type of look Michaela Coel is always down for. For tonight’s Emmy Awards, she paired her neon gown with a matching winged liner. As for hair, the actress kept things clean cut — literally.
Uzo Aduba was the literal definition of pretty in pink tonight. Makeup artist Carola Gonzalez prepped her skin with BYBI skincare products, then gave the actress a monochrome look with a fuchsia lip, and rosy eyes and cheeks. Hairstylist Jamika Wilson crafted a gorgeous wavy bob.
Sarah Paulson matched her lip to her dress for a pop of color on the Emmys red carpet. Her hair was styled into a flipped-in bob.
Celebrity hairstylist Marc Mena made sure Mindy Kaling looked like a literal goddess on the red carpet with these soft, mermaid waves. Celebrity facialist Joanna Vargas prepped the star’s skin, then makeup artist Cindy J. Williams followed up with soft and sultry glam, adding some dimension to Kaling’s cheek bones with a rosy blush.
If there’s one thing makeup artist Joanna Simkin and hairstylist Felicia Leatherwood are not going to do, it’s play around with Issa Rae’s glam — and believe it or not, Simkin used all e.l.f. products for Rae’s skincare and makeup. Leatherwood slicked the star’s hair back into a gorgeous braided updo.
Anya Taylor-Joy’s red carpet beauty look screams “glamour.” Her skin was prepped by Iván Pol of The Beauty Sandwich who used the “Tour de France” treatment. Hairstylist Gregory Russell crafted the star’s voluminous updo using Pureology products, while makeup artist Georgie Eisdell relied on Dior's Rouge Dior Ultra Care Liquid #999 for her bold red lip.
