The Best New Beauty Products of October 2021 – InStyle

Usher in the season with mask-proof makeup and moisturizing skincare.
2021 has been a teeter-totter of a year, but while events like weddings, concerts, and returning the office have been put on hold (a few times), wearing makeup has never been canceled. Products like bold eyeliner, colorful eyeshadow, and long-wear lipsticks have come in clutch when creating looks around face masks for the past year and a half.
Masks are still going to be an essential accessory for the foreseeable future, and it seems like beauty brands have this in mind with their launches. Case in point: some of October's most exciting makeup drops include impressively pigmented eyeshadow palettes from Pat McGrath Labs and Lady Gaga's Haus Labs, and creamy matte lipstick from Makeup By Mario.
Along with mask-friendly makeup products, this month's launches also include treatments for common fall struggles, like dull, dry skin and itchy scalps. Ahead, we've done the leg work for you by rounding up the 16 best new beauty products hitting shelves in October.

It comes in 14 flexible shades designed to compliment a wide range of undertones so everyone can find their perfect match.
Designed to work with all hair types, textures, and color-treated hair, Crown Affair’s first shampoo and conditioner gently cleanses and moisturizes hair without weighing hair down. The coconut-based surfactants produce a satisfying lather that doesn’t strip.
This edition of SolaWave’s cult-favorite facial wand uses blue light therapy to help treat breakouts and fight acne-causing bacteria. The fashion house brings just as much detail to its debut 24-shade nail polish collection as it does crafting Birkins. The formula is made with biosourced pigments that only require one coat. And yes, the polish comes in the French brand’s signature orange.
Sarah Uslan turned to her work as a makeup artist for inspiration when creating Lula’s the first products. The initial offering includes the Beyond Balm, a hydrating, botanical oil-based product that’s intended to be pressed over makeup for a natural no-makeup finish, or used alone for an extra glow.
It’s officially fall, so you know what that means: the temperatures will continue to drop, your lips are going to get chapped, and your scalp might experience dryness, too.
