From Lisa Waryanka, to the family & friends of Salon Boutique:
Hello everyone, it’s Lisa here — the entrepreneur behind this family we call Salon Boutique. Today, I am here to announce something that will shift our industry.
Most of you recognize me as a hair professional, but there is so much more I do here at Salon Boutique. I am creating a salon full of professionals that our industry has never seen before. I know, bold statement, but I truly believe that. We are rolling out some incredible things!
Work-life balance is something that tends to be very difficult in our industry. Often, we are left feeling like we are leaving either our families behind or our career. There never seems to be balance.
Over the last 18 years I have juggled trying to be a parent, partner, stylist, leader to my team, daughter, friend … and it pains me to watch my team try to balance it all.
This year we changed that!
We are no longer open on Saturdays and Sundays. We have shifted to a Monday through Friday schedule. This allows our team to be there for our families and to show up for our lives outside of the salon — while still providing exceptional service for you.
We have worked hard to build Salon Boutique to a point where we can create an “unlike any other” atmosphere for this industry.
This is a team-based salon that is looking to rock our industry. A happy team puts out the best work. We are joining a movement in the hair and beauty industry to reset how we care for our teams.
We have always been a forward-thinking business and we applaud our industry for changing old, out-of-date constraints that stylists “must” work within. We are more committed than ever to keeping our guests looking and feeling their best.
We believe guests are going to experience a higher standard of care from salons that adopt this new opportunity. By giving our team members the benefit of a better work-life balance, we are going to be able to attract and retain the best professionals — who will provide customers with the best service.
Here’s my message to stylists who have left salons and to our future professionals: We can create an incredible career and place to work, while living an ideal lifestyle. I encourage my fellow business owners to really look at your team and see what is important to them. For us … We don’t do Saturdays!
To our future team and guests, we can’t wait to meet you!
